Short Filmmaking (Or How to Make a Short Film in 3 Days)
Filmmaking doesn't have to take you ages, all the more so if it's a short film you're doing. In this workshop, filmmaker wannabes will know everything they have to know about making their own short film in three short days.

- Elements of cinema/crime (cinematography, production design, sound, etc.)
- Best Pinoy shorts
- Best Foreign shorts
- On the spot writing: concept, treatment, script
- Rules of the game
- Shooting
- Editing
- Viewing
- Critiquing
Prerequisites
Each participant must
- Bring his/her own digital video camera (Even a consumer camcorder will do.)
- Have basic skills in Final Cut Pro or Adobe Premiere Pro.
Instructor
Khavn is an internationally-acclaimed director, who has been in the jury of the prestigious Clermont-Ferrand International Short Film Festival, where his film "Can & Slippers" was an opening film. He is an Oberhausen winner, and has served as well in the Berlinale as part of the jury. He is the Festival Director of the first international digital film festival in the Philippines, MovFest, which features a national short film competition among others. Khavn currently has more than a hundred short films under his belt.
