Robert, the director of Dayo (the Philippines’ first all-digital full length animated film), is a partner and director at Cutting Edge Productions. He is an Adobe Certified Expert (ACE) and Instructor (ACI) in After Effects CS5.
Robert was previously the head of On-air Promotions at MTV Philippines, and prior to that, the on-air graphics and post-production manager of the Integrated News and Current Affairs Creative Imaging Department of ABS-CBN. He was also the director of two weekly programs at ABS-CBN News Channel (ANC).
A Fine Arts graduate of the University of Santo Tomas, Robert started his broadcast design career in 1993 with the Associated Broadcasting Company (ABC 5). This award-winning broadcast designer has worked with numerous nonlinear-editing workstations, and 2D and 3D animation programs.
Since joining PCCI’s faculty more than a decade ago, Robert has taught over 50 After Effects classes, both basic and advanced.
